In January, 2026, the banks being liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter – the DGF) recovered UAH 118.7 million.
Of these funds, banks managed by the DGF received UAH 24.2 million from the repayment of loans. Another UAH 27.9 million were received from the transactions with securities. Also, UAH 9.6 million was obtained from the sale of assets, another UAH 1 million - from the lease of property and UAH 56 million from other sources.
In particular, UAH 55.2 million was recovered from the correspondent accounts by JSC "RwS BANK", which is being liquidated by the DGF following the establishment of bridge bank “Iute Bank” based on the assets of the “RwS BANK”.
The leaders by revenue in January, 2026, were:
- JSC “RwS BANK" – UAH 57.1 million;
- JSC “IBOX BANK” – UAH 14.6 million;
- АТ «MR BANK» – UAH 14.5 million;
- JSC "COMINVESTBANK” – UAH 8.2 million.
As noted earlier, during 2025 the banks managed by the DGF recovered UAH 4930.8 mln.
Recall that funds received from the the sale and the management of the assets (property) of failed banks managed by the DGF are directed to settle the claims of their creditors in the order determined by Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Household Deposit Guarantee Scheme”.
