From July 21, 2023, based on the National Bank of Ukraine (hereinafter – the NBU) Board Resolution dated July 20, 2023 # 248-рш "On the resolution of the systemically important bank JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "SENSE BANK" and Decision of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter – the DGF) Executive Board dated July 20, 2023 #872 on Introduction of Provisional Administration in JSC "SENSE BANK" and Delegation of Powers of Provisional Administrator of the Bank, the procedure of JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "SENSE BANK" (hereinafter – JSC "SENSE BANK") resolution was launched by introducing the provisional administration in the bank. According to the legislation, the provisional administration in JSC "SENSE BANK" has been introduced for a period of one month from July 21, 2023, to August 20, 2023, inclusive.
However, when the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the State’s participation in JSC "SENSE BANK" resolution is adopted, the DGF shall, within two calendar days after receiving such decision, sell the bank’s shares to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and terminate the provisional administration in JSC "SENSE BANK". The National Bank of Ukraine has sent the proposal regarding the State’s participation in JSC ‘SENSE BANK’s resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in view of the fact that JSC "SENSE BANK" is included in the list of systemically important banks.
The DGF appointed Ms. Viktoriia S. Stepanets, Head of the Early Intervention Division of the Bank Off-site and On-site Monitoring Department, as a DGF officer authorized to exercise the provisional administration in JSC "SENSE BANK" and delegated to her all powers of JSC "SENSE BANK"’s provisional administrator, defined by the Law of Ukraine on the Household Deposit Guarantee Scheme, in particular, the powers of the bank’s governance bodies.
