In October, 2025, the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter – the DGF) paid out UAH 1.5 million of the guaranteed reimbursement to the depositors of failed banks.
In total , since its establishment the value of reimbursement paid out by the DGF amounted to UAH 105.0 billion. Over 96% of the depositors already received the guaranteed compensation.
The total amount of reimbursement to depositors of the banks liquidated after February 24, 2022, amounts to almost UAH 9 billion.
The DGF pays out guaranteed reimbursement to the depositors from its own funds. As of October 31, 2025, financial resources of the DGF amounted to UAH 49.41 billion.
Recall, that starting from April 13, 2022, during martial law in Ukraine and for three months after its cancellation 100% guarantees apply to the term deposits as well as funds in current accounts of individuals and sole proprietors.
