The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the State’s participation in the resolution of JSC "SENSE BANK" (hereinafter - JSC "SENSE BANK") through the purchase of the bank's shares by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
In view of the above, the Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter - DGF) pursuant to the Article 411 of the Law of Ukraine «On Households Deposit Guarantee Scheme» approved the resolution plan of JSC "SENSE BANK" according to which bank's shares rights to be transferred to the State represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, without attracting other investors or assuming banks. It is worth emphasizing that JSC "SENSE BANK" shares sale to theState will be carried out by the DGF within two calendar days after receiving the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Recall that the DGF started the procedure of JSC ‘SENSE BANK’ resolution by introducing a provisional administration in it on the basis of the decision of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of July, 20 2023 No. 248-рш "On the resolution of the systemically important bank JOINT STOCK COMPANY SENSE BANK" and in accordance with the decision of the DGF Executive Board dated July, 20 2023 No. 872 "On Introduction of Provisional Administration in JSC ‘SENSE BANK’ and Delegation of Powers of Provisional Administrator”.
