Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) cooperates with the deposit insurance organizations from other countries, international financial institutions and international technical aid projects.

DGF is a member of two international deposit insurers associations: 

International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) – a forum for deposit insurers from around the world to gather to share knowledge and expertise. It provides training and educational programs and produces research and guidance on matters related to deposit insurance. IADI Members represent deposit insurance organisations. As an IADI member, the DGF participates in Europe Regional Committee . 

European Forum of Deposit Insurers (EFDI) – association of the deposit insurers of Europe with the main objective to contribute to the stability of financial systems by enhancing the role of, and promoting European and International co-operation in deposit insurance and investor compensation, facilitating discussion and exchange of experiences and expertise among its members. On May 26, 2022, at the EFDI Annual General Meeting, Svitlana Rekrut, DGF Managing Director, was elected to the EFDI Board.

DGF also has bilateral cooperation agreements with Bank Guarantee Fund (Poland), Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, Savings Deposit Insurance Funв (Turkey), Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund.

The International Monetary Fund

The Deposit Guarantee Fund is one of the agencies that ensures the implementation of the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies on the Current Stand-by Arrangement for Ukraine.

The World Bank

The World Bank within the Financial Sector Technical Assistance Program helps DGF with the development of new regulations for bank resolution and deposit insurance in line with the EU Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD)/Deposit Guarantee Schemes Directive (DGSD).

U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Technical Assistance Program and the USAID 

As part of the implementation of financial sector reforms in Ukraine, the Deposit Guarantee Fund works closely with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s international technical assistance program, managed by the Office of Technical Assistance (OTA). The DGF is also involved in the technical assistance projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
